Passed weekend we went to the Amsterdam winner show. Actually we didn’t came to show our Shousei, but to promote the Japanese breeds at the NIPPON INU booth. It was good to be at a show without having to be in the ring on time and just tell people about the rare Shikoku. I was very pleased with the ammount of people that came to the booth and wanting to know more about the Shikoku breed. Thank you everyone for your interest.
Some more news… We have set up an online database of Shikoku ken from all over the world together with shikoku owners and shikoku enthusiasts (I can’t thank all of you enough for your support). This website is a handy tool to make it easier for breeders to find the right partner for their shikoku and to find more about the lines that exists everywhere in the world. And of course, it’s fun for owners to see where their beloved dog comes from. We believe this database is an important step for keeping the shikoku breed healthy.
